Fifteen miles away is the medieval walled town of Domfront, where you can enjoy stunning views from the ramparts and maybe have lunch in one of the many restaurants lining the cobbled streets. An hour and a half will get you to most of Normandy’s famous attractions. The walled city of St Malo with its famous seafood restaurants, the magical Mont St Michel, Bayeux, Bagnole sur Orne, the copper town of Villedeu des Poelle and the D - Day invasion- beaches are all within easy reach.
